North Fork Valley Business Growth Program
Helping Rural Businesses Grow
The Business Growth Program is rooted in collaboration. In partnership with Region 10 and the North Fork Valley Chamber of Commerce, we're working to build a stronger local business ecosystem by supporting innovation, leadership, and long-term economic resilience.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we focus on the realities of doing business in the North Fork Valley. Through hands-on workshops, collaborative learning, and local partnerships, participants gain the skills, confidence, and relationships they need to adapt, grow, and contribute to a thriving regional economy.
Our goal is to serve over 150 entrepreneurs and local leaders through workshops, networking events, and cohort-based learning opportunities across Paonia, Hotchkiss, Crawford, and the surrounding region.
What We Offer
Our programming includes opportunities for businesses at every stage, including:
Business workshops and educational trainings
Networking events and peer learning opportunities
The six-month Business Growth Collective cohort
Access to regional business resources and technical assistance
Connections with mentors, community partners, and local experts
Programs are designed for creative businesses, agricultural producers, retailers, restaurants, makers, wellness practitioners, nonprofits, and other small businesses throughout the North Fork Valley.
Built for Rural Entrepreneurs
Rural businesses often face challenges that look different from those in larger communities—from limited access to professional services and capital to workforce shortages and geographic isolation. At the same time, rural entrepreneurs bring incredible creativity, resilience, and a deep commitment to their communities. Our program is designed to build on those strengths by providing practical support, trusted connections, and opportunities to learn from peers facing similar challenges.
Ready to Grow Your Business?
Whether you're just getting started or ready to take your business to the next level, we'd love to help. Starting this October, we’ll bring together a group of local entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders for a six-month experience designed to support and strengthen businesses at every stage.
